Light the Water is the story of Tesla, a young woman isolated by attempts to find meaning in the life she has created. Equally afflicted by the visions of her dreams and her graphic, though insignificant day jobs, the line between her psyche and reality becomes beautifully reflexive. A week in Tesla’s life subtly reveals how our typical assumptions of what is meaningful are ever complex and perpetually changing. Light the Water questions definitions of desire, fear, the mundane and what it means to choose to be alone. -CW
